Tang Dumplings’ authentic and intriguing exterior draws customers into the even more excellent interior. Before even entering the premises, the scent of Japanese culture hits your nose.
Upon entering, the authentic tone is immediately set with Japanese artwork, a sweet smell, and waiters walking around with steaming bowls of dumplings.
On a Saturday afternoon, Tang Dumplings was bustling with customers ready to eat. With about 4-5 waiters and waitresses, this staff may have their hands full, but seating is executed quickly and efficiently.
After about 5 minutes of waiting, we were seated in a private booth with enough space for a family of 6. Giving the waitress our order was like picking and choosing random presents that all taste amazing.
Tang dumplings deliver your order in different sections, like an all-you-can-eat buffet. This means that if I were to order a chicken ramen soup and dumplings. The dumplings would be served, then the ramen.
For 3 guests, the total cost of the order was over $120, including a 20% tip. Tang Dumplings is obviously not the cheapest restaurant to dine at, but the quality of the food makes up for it.
I ordered the Chicken ramen, which was served in a giant bowl of broth. The first scoop of ramen paired with a boiled egg was amazing. The reason it’s so pricey is that one ramen bowl can serve around 2 people! To wash down the drink, I ordered a specialty drink named “Ocean Blue”. Ocean Blue contained little popping boba and a fresh blue raspberry taste.
Instantaneously, as the ramen was served, a rectangular plate of 6 pork dumplings with soy sauce arrived. The plate smelled of ginger, clinging to the air. The first bite, paired with soy sauce, was even better than the ramen. Everything about these dishes spoke of authenticity and quality.
On top of the delicious food, Tang Dumplings surrounds music over the speakers. Artists revolving around Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, The Weeknd, and much more!
Tang Dumplings gets a 9/10 rating for their attention to detail, lovely interior and exterior design, and friendly service. The only downside to all of the greatness is how busy some days can get.
