Hershey High School hosted a job fair for students on Wednesday, March 5.
The businesses that students were able to meet with included Indian Echo Caverns, Adventure Sports, Rita’s, Desserts Etc., Giant, and others. This event was hosted by the Career Center at Hershey High School, which is located in the library.
Students were able to sign up to attend the job fair throughout the school day, where they had the opportunity to meet with representatives from a variety of jobs.
Ms. Rosensteel, who organized the event, said, “The job fair is not just a place for students to try and look for summer employment, but a place where they can practice some high-stakes, real-world skills in a low-stakes environment.” She believes that by bringing local employers to the school, “we can break down some barriers students have to finding some work and make jobs accessible for all.”
