HE&R has announced that the long-time Houlihan’s restaurant on 27 West Chocolate Avenue in Hershey is closing their doors after 20 years of operation. They had made this decision back in October of 2025. The restaurant’s official last day of operation was December 31st, 2025.

Along with the closure announcement, HE&R also shared that the space that is still currently the Houlihan’s restaurant would be replaced by a new dining concept called the Hershey Social Restaurant + Bar.
According to the Hershey Social webpage, the new restaurant will pair “bold flavors and signature cocktails with interactive darts and trivia to create Hershey’s premier destination to sip, savor, and socialize.”
The new restaurant is currently said to debut in Spring 2026. Upon opening, it will be operational 7 days a week for lunch and dinner.
