In the week before the Homecoming Game and Dance, HHS raised school spirit with dress-up days and a door decorating contest. The dress-up days were organized by Hershey High School’s student council. During homeroom “community periods,” students decorated their homeroom doors.
Each grade level was assigned a season that their doors were themed by. Freshmen were spring, sophomores were summer, juniors were fall, and seniors were winter. Students voted on a winner for each grade level, picking from finalists that were selected by HHS administration.
The student council plans spirit days for the week leading up to the homecoming game and dance. These days included a PJ Day, an “anything but a backpack” day, an “ages” day, and a color war day. (Vivienne Dotts/The Broadcaster)
