Comedian Adam Sandler is coming to the Giant Center on September 28th at 7:30 pm.
The You’re My Best Friend tour, promoted by Live Nation, will see Sandler visit more than 30 cities across North America, kicking off the tour season in Jacksonville, Florida and concluding in Las Vegas, Nevada. A mature audience of 16+ is recommended for this show.
In the past 5 years, Adam Sandler has won a variety of awards, including a Film Independent Spirit Award for Best Male Lead for Uncut Gems in 2020 and a People’s Icon Award in 2024. He also received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2011.
Adam Sandler has done a ton of different types of shows and movies, primarily under the comedy genre. In 2023, he was in the Netflix special Adam Sandler: 100% Fresh. He was also featured in the 1996 HBO comedy special Adam Sandler: What the Hell Happened to Me. Adam has also been a cast member on Saturday Night Live for one season, from 1990 to 1991. He had been a writer for the show before that.
Sandler has always been known for his stand-up comedy. His first comedy show was Adam Sandler: What the Hell Happened to Me and was recorded in many different locations, including Ground Control Studios, Capitol Studios, Record Plant Studios, and Rocket Ranch in Los Angeles/Burbank, California. Adam has used the name “Sandman,” particularly in his earlier stand-up and music career, although it is not a stage name. Since his first show, his comedy platform has grown a tremendous amount. He is most well known for his movies Happy Gilmore, released in 1996, and Happy Gilmore 2, released in 2025.
