Hersheypark’s Hersheypark Halloween and Dark Nights, an immersive haunted experience presented by Reese’s and Kit Kat, has been nominated for Best Theme Park Halloween Event in the 2025 USA TODAY 10 Best Readers’ Choice Awards.

“Dark Nights” at Hersheypark is the after-dark portion of the park’s seasonal Halloween event, starting nightly at 6 p.m. during the Halloween weekends. It includes haunted houses, scare zones, and darker versions of rides as the coasters run during low light. Dark Nights runs later than normal park hours and is included with admission to the Hersheypark Halloween event.

The annual Readers’ Choice Awards highlights top attractions across the country, with 20 nominees selected by a panel of relevant experts, including USA TODAY editors, 10Best.com contributors, and other media partners and Gannett properties. The public is invited to vote for their favorite event through Monday, Sept. 22, at 11:59 a.m. EST, at USA TODAY’s website.
