Fulfil describes its bars as “protein so good you’ll think it’s candy,” highlighting their focus on flavor as much as nutrition.
Fulfil’s protein bar wasn’t exciting. It’s advertised to be as good as a candy bar, but it’s not. As is standard for most protein bars, it’s quite dense. Compared to other protein bars, it has better flavor, but equivalent density, which can make it difficult to finish.
Two eggs will get you 12 grams of protein, and a cup of plain chicken breast gets you 43 grams of protein. There are other options with more protein, but these bars offer portability and convenience. This has both, but not much more. These bars are convenient and tastier than many other competing protein bars.
Fulfil currently offers four flavors: chocolate salted caramel, chocolate peanut caramel, chocolate peanut butter, and chocolate hazelnut.
The bars are advertised on Fulfil’s website as “double dipped in chocolatey goodness”. They also offer 15 grams of protein while only containing 1 gram of sugar. The brand also claims that the bars offer many vitamins, such as vitamin E, vitamin C, vitamin B12, and more. These bars are gluten-free but not vegan.
These protein bars boast a rating of 4.4 / 5 stars on Fulfil’s website, as well as Amazon. On Amazon, packs of 12 are sold for varying prices depending on flavor, with a variety pack costing $22.51. In comparison, Quest, another popular protein bar, sells variety 12-packs for $21.41 on Amazon.
Fulfil’s protein bars all have a chocolate covering with a dense interior layer, which is where the protein is hidden. The chocolate coating and flavorful fillings make these bars more enjoyable than most protein bars, but despite the brand’s claims, they still fall short of tasting like candy.
