Longtime Hersheypark Ride “SkyView” is Closing

The Hersheypark ride “Skyview” will not be returning for the 2025 season, ABC27 recently reported. Skyview first started operating back in 1966, according to Coasterpedia.com. The unfortunate closing of this longtime beloved ride will open up room for new rides.

Hersheypark has unveiled new information for its all-new Twizzlers Twisted Gravity attraction. This ride will be the tallest “Screamin Swing” in the world. It has two 20-person gondolas with four Twizzlers-branded zones. Riders over 48” tall can ascend over 130 feet and reach 68 miles per hour.

While announcing the closing of Skyview on Facebook, Hersheypark also said there will be 70 new rides for all ages this 2025 season. This includes the previously mentioned Twizzler ride.
