On January 30th, 2025, Billy Crystal hosted the FireAid: A Benefit Concert for WildFire Relief in Los Angeles, California. 27 different performers were on stage at the Intuit Dome and Kia Forum on Thursday evening, including new artists like Billie Eilish, Gracie Abrams, Olivia Rodrigo, and classics like Alanis Morrisette, Green Day, the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, and Stevie Nicks.
FireAid is calling for donations on its website and has raised over $60 million from the event. Heartfelt songs and messages were sent out to those who were killed and affected by the devastating wildfires that started on January 7th, 2025.
According to NBC News, the Palisades and Eaton WildFires burned over 37,000 acres in California, causing over $250 billion in damages.
The event was produced by Shelli and Irving Azoff, along with the Azoff family, in collaboration with producing partner Live Nation and operating partner the LA Clippers.
