HHS XC sweep Cedar Cliff, Girls win Mid-Penn Keystone Division
The Hershey High School Cross Country team ended their regular season with two victories against the Cedar Cliff Colts on Tuesday, October 1, 2019.
The girls clinched an undefeated regular season and the Mid-Penn Keystone Division with a 15-50 shut out of the Colts. Cedar Cliff sent just three runners to the line, and the Trojans pushed 13 runners across the finish before the Colts’ first.
On the boys side, it was a comfortable 17-38 victory with most of the varsity runners able to take the race off and allow some of the junior varsity runners to score some points.
After a tune-up race at the 64th William Tennent Cross Country Invitational on Saturday, the Trojans will next race at the Mid-Penn Championship at Big Spring High School on October 12, 2019.
