Hershey Farmers Market Opens Season, Celebrates 10 Year Anniversary

The annual Hershey Farmers Market, held on the grounds in front of the Cocoa Beanery, will be opening for their 10 year anniversary on May 23, 2019 with their new slogan, “Always Fresh, Always Thursday.”

The market will have many different vendors to provide a variety of goods such as fresh food, handmade jewelry, and soaps.

The attending vendors include Mycosymbiotics, Keswick Creamery and Swirly Girl Creamery, Sunshine Bakery, Sunnyside Farm, Rola’s Lebanese Food, Thom’s Bread LLC, Torchbearers Sauces, Ugly Acres, Health Studs, Isabelle Cuisine, Schlegel Fruit Farm, Mariflora Farm and Homestead, Moonrise Candles, Shady Acres Farm, Fasta and Ravioli Co., Hope Hill Lavender Farm and Oak Lane Kitchen.

The market will also host a children’s tent that provides the youth with healthy alternatives to unhealthy food choices and activities that will encourage children to be more active.

Following the market, there will be weekly “Live on the Lawn” music presented by local performers from 6 to 9 pm.

The market is open every Thursday from 2:30 to 6:30 until October 24, excluding July 4.
