Hersheypark Springtime in the Park opens

The spring season has arrived. As the warm weather arises, the Sweetest Place on Earth is opening their number one tourist attraction, Hersheypark.

Hersheypark is opening their springtime in the Park on the weekend of April 6, 2019. It will run from the weekends of April 6-7, 13-14, and 20-21. In addition this year, the park will be open on Friday, April 19th. The park will be opened from 10 am to 9 pm on these days.

Hersheypark in the spring time will have all of their attractions open. A day time ticket to the park $38.95, and the season pass costs $117. (Hersheypark Website)

Along with the 13 roller coasters and other rides being open, the ZooAmerica North American Park will be open. The zoo is a free visit with your purchase of a season pass or day ticket.

The park will have daily entertainment by a variety of magicians, singers, and comedians. The characters will also be at the park for pictures.

The 2019 Hersheypark season will be the Carrousels 100th anniversary year. The ride still has all of the original horses and features that were built in 1919 by the Philadelphia Toboggan.

The park that still has many of their classic rides and ideas also has many new features to bring to their 2019 season. The park will now have three new unconventional stands and food choice.

The Chick-fil-a restaurant that opened in the Summer of 2018 will now be expanding. There will now be a Chick-fil-a food truck. In addition to that fan favorite, a new gluten-free and nut free stand will be called

The Outpost. For dessert, new king size milkshakes will be served at two restaurants, Simply Chocolate and Reeses CupFusion.

In order to make your experience better and skip the lines, there is now Fast Track and Fast Track Unlimited passes. The Fast Track pass can be purchased for $39, and this allows you to skip the lines on the 13 featured rides once per day. The Fast Track Unlimited pass costs $49, and this allows you to skip the 13 rides as many times as you want.

All of these events and attractions will attract returning and new tourists to the sweetest place on earth for the 2019 summer.
