The Hershey Trojans fell short to the Bulldogs of Wilson 14-5 on Saturday, April 29, 2017.

The game, which was held at Hershey’s home field, started off with a Wilson goal, scored just 40 seconds into the first half. The game remained close throughout the majority of the first half thanks to saves made by Hershey goalie junior Kieran Holley.

Sophomore Taylor Yahn and freshman Maddie Zimmer both scored in the first half to put the Trojans on the board. However, the Bulldogs retaliated and scored nine goals before halftime.

Going into the second half, Wilson’s Genna Strobel and Kendall Duffy, both sophomores, scored a combined seven goals and nine points. The Trojans scored three more times, thanks to Zimmer, freshman Makenzie Stritzinger, and sophomore Baylee West. But it was not enough, and the game concluded with the final score of 14-5.
