If you’re currently watching a show that you can’t stray away from, go ahead and keep watching. But if you’re looking for a new one that will blow your mind or have you laughing until you cry, here’s 15 shows that were suggested by Hershey High School students that are sure to get you hooked.
#10 Stranger Things (2016-)
Okay, who hasn’t heard of this show? Whether you’ve seen it or not, Netflix’s original series Stranger Things has taken the internet by storm creating so much buzz. The hype isn’t all for nothing. When a little boy named Will goes missing in the 1980’s, his desperate mother and three best friends go above and beyond to try to find him. When weird things begin to happen and a girl with superhuman abilities stumbles upon them, Hawkins, Indiana is flipped upside down. Follow three boys on their journey trying to find their friend, fighting bullies, running from cops, and discovering something so twisted that they uncover things stranger than they could ever imagine.
#9 Parks and Recreation (2009-2015)
Grab some tissues because this show will make you laugh until you cry. Parks and Recreation follows a group of government workers who are all part of the, you guessed it, Parks and Recreation department. Leslie Knope just wants the best for her town, even if it is virtually the worst town in the country. This show makes watching government workers doing their job entertaining. Friendships are made, waffles are eaten, babies are born, mini-horses are worshiped, the pit is filled, and so much more. If you want to understand what all of that just meant, watch Parks and Rec. You won’t regret it.
#8 Criminal Minds (2005-)
This show will make you check your locks at least twice. Criminal Minds is about a group of elite FBI agents who are part of the Behavior Analysis Unit. They study serial killers and get to the bottom of what really made them into a killer. They’re not just a team, though. They’re basically a family which makes watching countless murders so worth it. Each episode they tackle a new case that will blow your mind and keep you at the edge of your seat. Even some of the stories are based off of real life cases. You don’t want to mess with this team of FBI agents who outsmart every killer they’re up against. Hurry and catch up on Netflix before the season 12 finale on May 10, 2017 on CBS.
#7 How I Met Your Mother (2005-2014)
Everyone’s heard the story of how your father met your mother. Some are short and some are long, but main character Ted Mosby’s version of how he met his wife is nine seasons long. Filled with flashbacks of relationships, jobs, and laughter, How I Met Your Mother is the story of Ted finding the girl he wants to marry along side of his four best friends.
#6 Grey’s Anatomy (2005-)
Ever wonder how doctor’s balance a personal life and their job at the same time? Well Grey’s Anatomy will show you just that.
