HHS Field Hockey defeats Dallastown

Hershey High School’s field hockey team defeated Dallastown 1-0 at home on Friday, October 14th.

The game’s only goal was scored by senior Mya Christopher and assisted by freshman Maddie Zimmer.

Dallastown ended the game with two shots on goal and two corners. However, Hershey had 18 shots on goal and 12 corners.

In the Mid Penn Keystone League, Hershey has an 8-1 record. In the overall conference, they are 13-4.

Team captain Taylor Massage was impressed by the efforts of the team at this game. Massage said, “It was great that we scored early in the game. We just have to keep that intensity up for post-season.”

The Trojans will play against Boiling Spring on Tuesday for the Mid-Penn Championships (MPCs). This is the first time the team has made it to MPCs since 2005.
