Hershey Girls Volleyball vs Lower Dauphin

On Tuesday, October 11th, the Hershey girls volleyball team coached by John Zitko and Robert Baker, played Lower Dauphin and lost 0-3.

The game was senior night for the class of 2017  The seniors announced were the team captains, Emily Harris, McKenna Zitko, and Ashley Centeno. Also announced were, Greta Chavey, Ali Gmerek, Katie Stevens and Morgan Nace.

Gmerek scored the first point during the first set for the trojans with her serve.

Even though the Trojans lost , Zitko said, “To have been thrown into a brand new division this year, it is pretty great to have had a winning record.”

Due to the team’s loss, the Hershey Girls Varsity volleyball team will not be attending Districts during the 2016 season.
