Hershey Loses Homecoming Game Against Harrisburg

The Harrisburg Cougars defeated the Hershey Trojans 49-0 in the Hershey Homecoming game on Friday, September 30, 2016.

Hershey quarterbacks Grant Santangelo and Ryan Nerino each threw an interception that was returned for a touchdown. Harrisburg’s Yahmir Wilkerson led his team with three passing touchdowns.

The Trojans were missing several key players on defense, namely in their secondary.

The Cougars’ stout defense didn’t allow a snap in their territory until the third quarter.
Sophomore running back Sam Carlson said after the game, “Our effort and execution needs to be there. Sometimes we’re just a few plays away, but we don’t execute and [we] blow it.
