DreamWorks animation has produced yet another entertaining film that came as a shock to most people. Directors Joel Crawford and Januel Mercado created this Shrek sequel to focus on the fearless feline hero, Puss In Boots. It ended up becoming a top hit movie for all ages.

Puss In Boots, voiced by Antonio Banderas, is down to his final life after receiving a lifetime of nine lives. Puss sees an opportunity to restore his full nine lives with a wishing star. This movie revolves around Puss’s quest to find the wishing star while currently running from the embodiment of Death (Wagner Moura). Florence Pugh plays a special role voicing Goldilocks as she is also on the hunt for the wishing star.

The movie is focused on a hero coming to terms with the inevitability of death and accepting one’s morality. Puss In Boot’s priorities realign throughout the journey of this quest.

This sequel is very entertaining. This movie provided the audience with just enough action, emotion, and unexpectedness to keep audiences on the edge of their seats. The animations were also very well produced, forming one of the best animation films. The directors did a great job balancing a little bit of darkness and humor in the film.

It’s safe to say that this movie should be recommended for all age groups. It is definitely filled with adventure and constantly keeps the audience guessing what will happen next.
