Hershey Boys Basketball Defeats Palmyra 55-47 in Rivalry Game

Hershey Boys Basketball team defeated Palmyra High School 55-47 at home on Tuesday, January 25th, 2022.

The game was very evenly fought through the two quarters with even position between both teams.

Hershey’s Guard Junior Matthew DeDonoatis and Senior Captain Jack Argento contributed to the Trojans lead with 13 points each. Hershey finished the first half up 22-19 with the momentum moving into the second half. 

Starting the third quarter Senior Captain Drew Colman attacked Palmyra’s defense scoring 12 points for the Trojans in the quarter.

“We knew going into the second half that we would need to start strong,” said Colman, “Luckily my teammates were able to get me open and I got us some points going into the fourth quarter.”

Hershey’s shooting percentage at 56% compared to Palmyra’s 29% solidified the Trojans win over the Cougars.

The Trojans next game is Friday, January 28th, 2022 away at Mifflin County High School.
