Green Bay MVP Quarterback Aaron Rodgers is now considering retirement if Packers don’t repair the situation “to his liking.” according to CBS Sports.

On Thursday evening, Rodgers reportedly told some within the organization that he does not want to return to the team, per ESPN.

The Packers have hope, though,  with the quarterback saying he will return if things can be repaired, but their relationship has gotten very ugly. This could mean firing members of the front office, as Rodgers “doesn’t like anyone in the front office,” according to Pro Football Talk.

Repairing the situation could also mean getting rid of Jordan Love, a quarterback who Green Bay drafted last year. Rodgers did not like the move to draft Love at all, reportedly feeling he would act as Rodgers’ replacement.

Rodgers wants out of Green Bay so badly that he would be willing to pay $25 million to make it happen. That is how much he would have to return to the organization if he were to retire due to contractual obligations.

Instead of retiring, he would prefer being traded, as he made a list of three teams he would want to go to before the draft. The teams included the Raiders, Broncos, and 49ers. The 49ers even reached out to Green Bay about a possible trade including Rodgers, but the Packers made it clear they wouldn’t deal their star quarterback, per CBS Sports

In all likelihood, the three-time MVP will not play another game for the Packers in his career. Rodgers prefers a situation ending in a trade, but Green Bay is entirely against that idea, according to CBS. The Packers-Rodgers relationship is ugly, and does not show signs of being repaired.
