The Hershey Trojans girls basketball team were defeated by the Crusaders with a final score of 55-36 by the Mcdevitt Crusaders on Tuesday, December 17th

In the first quarter, the Trojans started strong with a five point lead, and at the end of the first half the Crusaders came back to tie the game. McDevitt, however, pushed ahead scoring 22 points in the third quarter.

Hershey attempted to fight back with a few minutes left to play, but the Crusaders held them off to finish the game with a 19 point lead.

Senior captain Olivia Bratton said, “We started out really strong, but sort of lost our fire throughout the game.”

Bratton said, “we have a lot of motivation and a really tight team, so I am super excited for the rest of the season.”

The Trojans record is now 3-3.  This Friday, December 20th, the Trojans will travel to Palmyra Area High School.
