HHS Girls Soccer Ties Palmyra 0-0 in Double Overtime

The Hershey High School girl’s soccer team tied the Palmyra Cougars in double overtime Tuesday, October 8th, 2019.

The teams played a total of 100 minutes, including two additional ten minute periods of playing time. 

Hershey relied heavily on sophomore, Damaria Wedderburn’s speed to make plays happen on the left wing. Hershey’s goalie, Alexis Moodie, made several key dives to keep the game tied. 

Senior night events also took place before the kickoff of the game. 10 seniors were recognized. 

This is Hershey’s second tie with a record of 9-5-2. Additionally, this game was the Trojan’s sixth game this season that has gone to double overtime.

On Saturday, October 13th, they will face off against Athens High School at 1:00 at home.
