Hershey Boys Volleyball Beats Mechanicsburg

The Hershey trojans boys volleyball team took on the Mechanicsburg area high school Wildcats on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Hershey High. After four close matches, the Trojans came out with another victory.

Juniors, Tim Zieber and Jordan Spidle started off the game along side of Seniors Nick Martin, Eric Krieger, Moses Kresh, and Jack Quillen. With the points going back and forth between each team the Trojans ended the first match 28-26 to start the game off.

The Wildcats then had a come back, beating the Trojans in the second match 22-25.

However Hershey came back stronger winning the third match 25-20 and the fourth match 25-17 and ending the game.

“We played as a team,” said Spidle. “Overall we have good chemistry and I’m looking forward to the rest of a great season.”

With another win added to the books the Trojans now have an overall record of 5-2 and a league record of 4-1.
