Hershey Girls Lacrosse Falls 9-6 to Exeter Township

Exeter Township took home the win 9-6 against Hershey this past Saturday, April 20th, 2018.

Despite three goals in the first half including two by sophomore Katana Nelson, Exeter held a 6-3 lead at halftime. Senior Taylor Yahn also scored for the Trojans.

In second half, Exeter quickly scored two more goals to pull ahead of Hershey 8-6.

Hershey was reeling and called a timeout. Shortly after, Mackenzie Stritzinger, a junior,  scored to get Hershey within three. Minutes later, Nelson scored putting the score at 5-8, and capping the comeback was a goal by Mackenzie Stritzinger to put Hershey only two goals behind Exeter at 6-8.

However, Exeter scored a final goal to end the game 9-6.  

Hershey’s next game is April 26, 2018 at State College. Hershey’s current record is 13-2.
