Palmyra shuts out Hershey Baseball 12-0

Hershey High School (HHS) boys baseball was shut out by Palmyra ending the game mercy ruled at the 5th inning with a final score of 12-0 on Thursday, April 11, 2019.

Starting out the game, the Palmyra Cougars set the stage scoring 3 runs in the first inning. Hershey’s offense couldn’t put any numbers on the board.

Falling to Palmyra with a final score of 12-0, the game was ended early and HHS was mercy ruled.

“It was a tough loss,” said junior pitcher Kohen Stover, “but everyone did their best and kept their heads held high. We’re ready to make a comeback for our next game.”

Hershey’s record for the season is 2-4-0 and the team is ranked 6th in the league.

The Trojans next game is at Harrisburg at 4:15 pm on April 15, 2019.
