Hershey Company Season of Giving Back Campaign

The Hershey Company employees raised $1.7 million during Hershey’s Season of Giving 2017 campaign.

During the holiday season, many Hershey Company employees are giving back and moving forward by partnering with nonprofit organizations to make an impact in their communities.

Across five countries, 1,343 volunteers spent a combined nearly 4,128 hours giving back and spreading goodness across the world during “Good To Give Back Week.”

The Hershey Company has raised money and volunteered their time to local and national organizations. The money will be donated to United Way, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, and Feeding America.

Hershey has worked closely with United Way promoting improved education, healthy living, and ensuring financial stability for individuals and families around the world.

In the past ten years, Hershey has donated nearly $20 million to the United Way organization through their dollar-for-dollar employee matching program.  

According to The Hershey Company , “Our founder, Milton Hershey, focused not just on creating great-tasting chocolate that everyone could afford, but also on creating a vibrant community where his workers would enjoy living and working.”

Whether it’s working in food banks, packing meals for children in Philadelphia, or raising money to cure childhood cancer, the Hershey employees are giving back in many ways this holiday season.
