Hershey has worked closely with United Way promoting improved education, healthy living, and ensuring financial stability for individuals and families around the world.
In the past ten years, Hershey has donated nearly $20 million to the United Way organization through their dollar-for-dollar employee matching program.
According to The Hershey Company , “Our founder, Milton Hershey, focused not just on creating great-tasting chocolate that everyone could afford, but also on creating a vibrant community where his workers would enjoy living and working.”
Whether it’s working in food banks, packing meals for children in Philadelphia, or raising money to cure childhood cancer, the Hershey employees are giving back in many ways this holiday season.
