Founder Russell A. DiGilio stated that his idea became an exciting adventure of the business, which started in the Outer Banks, NC. It was a DiGilio family activity, but soon turned into a donut shop named after the area, Duck, in the Outer Banks that the family inhabited.

The name to the donut shop was made by DiGilio and his previous partner, Robin Griffith. DiGilio stated that after months of investigations on the right recipes and toppings that the name just hit them. After the name was developed, there was stopping the development of their first store.

This adventure has taken a right turn to Hershey, PA. The building has added just another reason for tourists to visit, but it also allows the residents to enjoy a fresh donut in close proximity.

It is a family friendly place that offers you a clean, courteous, fun, family friendly scrumptious experience when you visit, according to DiGilio.
