The Hershey Girls Volleyball team defeated the Mechanicsburg Area High School 3-1 on Tuesday, September 20th.

The match took place at Hershey High School’s gym where the Trojans extended their league record to 3-2.

Hershey soundly won 3 of the 4 sets, barely losing the fourth. The Trojans had many standout individual performances.

Senior Ashley Centeno and Freshman Annie Shay had noteworthy statistics over the course of the match. Centeno provided 24 blocks for the Trojans, and Shay had 18 assists.

Team Manager Nick Martin said, “We played a great game and I hope that the team can continue playing with the effort they had today.”
