HHS Juniors took a trip to Baltimore, Maryland on Wednesday March, 9.
The first stop of the trip was to Fort McHenry, where students got to see where Francis Scott Key wrote the national anthem. The visit at Fort McHenry fit with the junior’s history curriculum. The next stop was Inner Harbor where students had time to eat lunch and shop. Lastly, HHS juniors visited the National Aquarium.
“It was decided to take this trip because this year’s junior class has missed out on a lot of school trips in the past,” said junior class secretary, Emily Briselli.
The trip was planned by the junior class officers, Emily Briselli, Nick Martin, Erica Wang, and Michael Miller. HHS Spanish teachers, Miss Grimes and Mrs. Clouser, and Principal Dr. Reimann helped as well.
Briselli said, “The trip was successful and exceeded expectations.”
