With MiniTHON less than 24 hours away, HHS students prepare for a packed night of activities to help support the Four Diamonds Fund. With $15,000 already raised before the night has even started, there’s still a lot of money needed to reach the overall goal of $50,000.
Tonight’s theme is “Dancing Through the Decades.” Each section of the hallway outside the gym is decorated differently according to the year. The MiniTHON chairs have been working nonstop since 7:50 a.m. Other members of Key Club have been stopping by throughout the day to help with whatever is needed.
As for the night ahead, many activities are being set up to keep everyone on their feet. Key Club MiniTHON chairs said they hope the bouncy house, volleyball tournament, and family hour will keep everyone going throughout the night.
Although it will be a very long night, HHS sophomore, Azlein Thompson, doesn’t seem to mind the prospect of being exhausted at the end of the night.
