The annual Homecoming dance and football game is coming up on September 27th and 28th.
HHS librarian and student council advisor Ms. Angela Henning explained student council has worked hard to make the Homecoming festivities special.
The dance will be held in the Hershey High School cafeteria from 7-10pm.
The theme this year is “Venetian Masquerade”. They plan to decorate by using dark colors like blue, red, and black and hopefully get some feathers and masks.
Tickets are for sale at lunch with a $15 pre-sale price and $20 at entrance.
The homecoming court includes: James Campbell, Sean Elliott, Andrew Preputnik, Vinay Raman, Kelan Rowland, Ben Sheppard, Phoebe Boger, Riley Burnett, Zoey Hess, Zoe Latham, Christine Tang, Joyce Tao.
The Homecoming Queen will be announced on the 27th during half time of the football game against Gettysburg.
The choosing of the queen will be random, all the girls will choose a box and the person who gets the white rose is the queen. The king will be announced at the homecoming dance in a similar way. Everything will be random and the person who gets the special candy bar, is crowned king.
Hershey football goes into the game against Gettysburg with a 4-1 record. Kickoff will be at 7pm at the HHS turf field.
