The 11-acre Boardwalk at Hersheypark is set to open on Memorial Day through Labor Day for the 2024 season. There are attractions, slides, and pools for every age and kid at heart.
Water Park attractions at Hersheypark include the World’s Longest Mat Racing Slides, Breakers Edge Water Coaster, Intercoastal Waterway (lazy river), and even a larger-than-life-spray ground. With endless fun and 16 attractions, The Boardwalk is a place to spend hours with friends and family.
If you come from a city and dislike waiting in lines, you can purchase the Fast Track add-on to your park admission fee. There is a multitude of different options with specific offers. However, prices can fluctuate throughout the summer due to demand. When purchased, you will receive a free wristband that will be tapped at the Kiss-shaped reader before elegible lines. On the Hersheypark App, visitors can manage and personalize their experience to get the most out of their day!
After a tiring time at the water attractions, you may need to make a stop at the food stands. There is anything from American food, acai bowls, ice cream, and kettlecorn. All of the Boardwalk food and drink locations are grab-and-go style or made-to-order. Visitors can stay in their waterpark attire and return to their seats or eat at the provided tables. Since there is no dine-in seating, it makes it easier for anyone in the group to get what they want and try different items.
When it’s time to relax and take a break from the slides, or stay from the kids, you could purchase a cabana, for an additional cost. Cabanas are for parties of six (allowed up to two extra guests for additional cost), and come with complimentary drinks, chairs, towels, and more! Sun in Hershey can be brutal at points, so make sure you take advantage of the beach bag with sunscreen in it once you check in. Scared you will lose items or want them to be in a private location? No need to stress, visitors can take items to be locked up and away to the complimentary locker located at the waterpark. However, if you do not have a cabana, lockers are still available for purchase and are located at various locations. This private area even includes private access to entering/exiting the lazy river from the cabana locations. There is limited availability for booking a cabana, so if you know your group would like this special amenity, then it’s best to book it fast!
