Hershey boys lacrosse obliterated Central Dauphin East High School on Tuesday, April 9.
Senior Ryan Grace opened the scoring with 10 minutes remaining in the first quarter. Shortly after, the Hershey boys gained three more goals before junior Tyler Lucas scored his 100th goal with 1 minute left in the 1st.
Hershey started the 2nd quarter strong with a 6-0 lead. Justin Giffin then scored the 7th goal of the game. Afterward, CD East scored their lone goal, making the score 7-1. Hershey’s Tyler Lucas answered with two more goals for Hershey.
At halftime, Hershey was firmly in control at 9-1.
In the 3rd quarter, both Tyler Lucas and Ryan Grace continued fire in goals, bringing the score to 14-1 as they entered the final quarter. With 7 minutes left in the game, Andrew Preputnick scored, and junior Julian Sharp scored on the final shot of the game with 19 seconds left making the final score of 16-1.
During last Tuesday’s game, Hershey led throughout, securing another win for the team.
The next game is scheduled for Thursday, April 11th, against Trinity High School.
