The Trojans blasted Dallastown 6-0 on January 22nd at Klick Lewis Ponds .
The Trojan’s player of the night was HHS senior Ryan Dhawan with one goal and two assists. But the Trojans had goals from a variety of players.
Senior Tyler Treadway started the scoring, netting a goal just 3:45 into the contest. The Trojans also had goals from senior David Maish, sophomore Brady Cox, junior Owen Hulays, and sophomore Blake Umburger.
Junior Tyler Lucas leads the team with 16 goals and total points with 30. Blake Umburger is the team assists leader with 18.
Tensions ran high and the game ended with the teams in a scrum which ended with two players ejected and two more ending their night early.
The Trojans’ Tyler Lucas was ejected from the game for misconduct, and will miss the next game. Tyler Treadway earned a minor penalty for roughing and a game misconduct, but will not miss the next game. Similar penalties were handed out to a pair of Dallastown players.
The Trojans next game is Friday, January 26th, against Cumberland Valley at Twin Ponds at 8:10 pm.. The Trojans improved to 11-3 which is good enough for third in the CPIHL Bears Division. A playoff position has also been secured for the Hershey Trojans.
