Hershey girls basketball lost against Cedar Cliff High School 40-19 on Wednesday December 20th.
To begin, Hershey successfully gained the first two points with 4:25 left in the first quarter. After that the score became 4-0, with the amazing shot by McKinley Ebert at 3:04. Following that senior Imarie also scored a two pointer at 2:46 after Cedar Cliff scored 4 points, 6-4.
With 15 seconds left Cedar Cliff scored the last basket in the first quarter by a foul shot, finishing the first with a score of 6-5.
During the challenging game, Hershey led 6-5 but struggled to keep up right before halftime with a score of 8-18 and after halftime, 19-40 being the final score in Cedar Cliffs favor.
After this game, the Hershey girls will be heading to play Lower Dauphin, Thursday December 21st in hopes to steal the win. After this loss the team is 6-0 to start the season.
