Hershey Trojans Wrestling fall to Palmyra Cougars

The Hershey Trojans wrestling team was defeated by the Palmyra Cougars 42-19 on Thursday, December 6, 2023.

Hershey sophomore Christian Burd pinned his opponent in the 160 lbs weight class at 1:40 in the first period. Corey Schaffer won by a technical fall in the 3rd period in the 215 weight class. Other wins of the night included Tyler Laughman and Mason Webb.

The Trojans fought hard, yet in the end, they faced more losses than wins throughout the game.

The team’s current record is 1-2.

The Trojan’s next match will be away on Thursday, December 21st against Lower Dauphin at 7pm .
