HHS Boys’ Tennis wins match against Northern

The Hershey Boys’ Varsity Tennis Team beat Northern 5-0 on March 20, 2023.

Junior Markus Wingert, Hershey’s first singles player, had a clean win 6-0, 6-0. Second singles, Jesse Mullins, and first doubles, Saahil Mathur and Issac Mikanatha, both ‘bageled,’ a tennis term for a 6-0 score, their sets as well. 

The remaining doubles team, singles player, and exhibition pair also won their sets, finishing off the match with a clean sweep. 

The Trojans have started the 2023 season off strong with two wins. The previous match was against Palmyra, and they defeated them 3-2. Their next home match is against Central Dauphin East on March 29th.
