The aftermath of winter storm Jonas was a burden for millions of people up and down the East Coast. Almost 2 feet of snow has piled up.
January 26th, 2016- Ice on the street of Randall Circle (near Shank Park) forms after the snow slowly starts to melt, making driving conditions substandard. Many cars had to drive at a slower speed to keep from slipping.
January 27th, 2016- The blizzard that sweeps across the North East leaves millions covered. With nowhere to put the snow, trucks have been forced to pile it on the sides of streets, leaving narrow driving paths.
Almost two feet of snow covers the backyards of millions of people’s’ homes. The blizzard that lasted from January 22nd, 2016 to January 24th, 2016 had left enough snow to do minor damage to homes and trees.
The weight of the snow causes larges branches from trees to break and fall. Much damage has been done by the blizzard that moved through many states of the Northeast coast.
Snow falls on January 23rd, 2016 in Hummelstown. As it rose higher and higher, cars could not drive.

“We’ve had our power go out a couple times, but that’s about it. I had to shovel the snow too so that sucked.” Chris said as he chuckled.
“I got to watch Spongebob [DVDs] all day!” said Quintin.
