Hershey Trojans Boys Soccer Defeats Mifflin County Huskies 8-0

Hershey High School (HHS) boys soccer defeated Mifflin County 8-0 on Wednesday, October 6th, 2021. She 

HHS boys started off strong with a goal from senior captain Ben Zimmer, quickly followed by the Trojans second goal from senior captain Drew Coleman. 

The Trojans continued to dominate the rest of the half with 3 more goals from Sophomore Ian Mcgrorty, Sophomore Riley Schmidt, and Junior Kaden Ferrel giving Hershey the 5-0 lead at half time. 

In the second half Hershey continued to control the game putting away three more goals. Ian Mcgorterey scored his second goal in the second half, followed by Freshman Aidan Miller and Sophomore Bo Shirk. 

The Trojans defense and midfield lines continued to control the remainder of the match ending with a shut out. “We played well after a hard fought game at Palmyra,” said Senior defender and captain Owen Schmidt, “we needed that win to bounce back after that tough loss.”

This game puts their record at 9-1-2, and they are currently ranked first in their division The Trojans next game is Monday, October 11th, 2021 away at Lower Dauphin High School.
