People’s Choice Announce Award Winners of 2019

The 45th People’s Choice Awards hosted a variety of people, movies, television shows, and influencers.

The ceremony was held Sunday, November 10th, 2019 at the Barker Hangar Theater in Santa Monica, CA. With a variety of categories, there were plenty of awards that went around – about 186, to be more precise.

According to People, Jennifer Aniston was the winner of the People’s Icon Award. She thanked her fans and supporters, “You paved the way for everything that I’ve had a chance to do and it feels so good, also, that I get to be back on television, where it all started.” 

Along with winning the People’s Icon Award, Aniston also won the comedy award along with Adam Sandler for the movie, “Murder Mystery”. 

Another top award was the People’s Champion Award won by P!nk. In her speech she discussed how all she wants for the world is kindness and humanity, regardless of views.

Gwen Stefani won the Fashion Icon Award. She owes it all to her mom, in fact, one of her favorite memories was going to the fabric store with her, reported Us Magazine

Notorious for his unique fashion sense, Harry Styles won Style of the Year Award. 

The list of awards doesn’t end here. The Movie of the Year Award goes to “Avengers: Endgame”, along with the Male Actor of the Year going to Robert Downey Jr. who stars in the film. The Female Movie Star of the Year was awarded to Zendaya for her performance in “Spider-Man, Far From Home”. 

Show of the year went to the renowned show “Stranger Things” which was nominated 25 times, and had also won 4 awards in the previous year, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Top Artists of 2019 were awarded to Shawn Mendes and Billie Eilish. 2019 marked the year Ellish began winning awards for her music.
