The happiest 5k on the planet is coming to the sweetest place on Earth.

The Color Run will be in Hershey on June 17th. It is a paint race that celebrates healthiness, happiness, and individuality, according to The Color Run. The Color Run will be sponsored by Lays, and it will start at the Giant Center.

The Color Run is the world’s most popular race, said its website. It was founded in 2011, and since then, over six million people have competed in it across more than 35 countries.

The race is an untimed five kilometer race, and every kilometer, runners are doused in colored powder. Runners are recommended to wear white to the race, so at the end of the 5k, they are completely colored.

According to its website, The Color Run is, “Less about your 10-minute-mile and more about having the time of your life.”

After the race, there is a large party-like gathering, called the Finish Festival. It includes music, dancing, and color throws, says The Color Run.

Entry is $49.99. That cost guarantees entry as well as things such as a tee-shirt, headband, and medal. You can also pair up with four or more friends or colleagues to run as well. That cost is $44.99 per person. You can split up the race distance with others, and you receive the same items as the individual packet, according to The Color Run.

This time in Hershey, there are many new attractions, including a Unicorn Medal, big, inflatable unicorns, a Lay’s® Poppables™ Foam Zone, an inspirational Dream Wall, and a Purple Color Zone, states The Color Run.
