Ask anyone what they’re doing on a Friday night. They might say they’re going to a party or hanging with friends but in reality, they’re probably staying at home watching Netflix. If you’re currently watching a show that you can’t stray away from, go ahead and keep watching. But if you’re looking for a new one that will blow your mind or have you laughing until you cry, here’s 15 shows that were suggested by Hershey High School students that are sure to get you hooked.

#15 Lost (2004-2010)

You will get lost in this show. Pun intended.

The commonly told scenario about a plane crash and survivors who take refuge on an island is basically the structure of this show. But Lost takes being stranded on an island to a whole new level. They soon find out that this is no ordinary island. When they dig deeper and deeper into the island’s secrets, they’re also uncovering each other’s secrets. With mysterious beasts, ghosts, time traveling, love, paranoia, and mistrust, this TV show is sure to keep you wanting to see more.

#14 That 70’s Show (1998-2006)

Taking place in Wisconsin, That 70’s Show follows high schooler Eric Forman throughout his daily adventures of being a teenager. Watch as Eric and his group of friends take on school, their parents, and relationships throughout the 1970’s. Prepare yourself for 8 seasons of relatable, but humorous stories that will show you kids don’t do “the same old thing they did last week.”

#13 The Flash (2014-)

What superpower would you want? Common answers are flying and being invisible. Barry Allen didn’t have a choice. When lightning hits his lab, he’s given the incredible ability to run faster than humanly possible. The Flash is his name and he’s much more than just a crime scene investigator.  His superpowers only make him better at his job as he fights crime and puts away the bad guys. If you’re into the comic book to live action adaptations, this show is perfect for you.

#12 Scrubs (2001-2010)

Did you love Grey’s Anatomy? Are you looking for a close second to watch? Then Scrubs is for you. Intern J.D. learns the obstacles of working in a hospital with help from his best friend, co-workers, and instructors. However, as serious as being a doctor might sound, the show has a humorous twist that will keep you hooked and laughing through all 8 seasons.

#11 The Vampire Diaries (2009-2017)

Did you read the books? Well now you can watch it on Netflix too. The Vampire Diaries is about two vampire brothers, one that has more control and the other that can’t help himself who both fall in love with the same girl. A complicated love triangle begins as the girl has affection for both of the guys. This show also follows the twisted lives of some other people in the town of Mystic Falls. Looking for an exciting romance mixed in with a ton of drama? Watch The Vampire Diaries.
