Four Cool New Technologies at the Consumer Electronic Show

This is a charging bag by Samsung. It is called the Sol Bag because it is solar powered. The bag has solar panels on the side that allows the charging of a Galaxy smartphone in about four hours. However, it cannot store sun power, so it can only charge when it is in the presence of light.

The Oculus Rift is a virtual reality headset that is going on sale for about $600. For that amount, you will receive a wired headset, a camera that tracks your head movements, an Oculus Remote, and a Microsoft Xbox One gamepad to let you navigate virtual reality apps and games. Also, two games free of charge are included.

The DJI Phantom 3 is a drone that is inspired by high-end film making equipment. The $999 drone also has a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi video downlink from the quadcopter with a range of up to 1.2km.

The JBL Charge 3 is a bluetooth speaker that is completely waterproof. It is expected to have better bass and fuller sound. Also, it has 15 hours of battery life and can be a charger for a cell phone. The JBL Charge 3 is going to be around the price of $149.95
