Cocoa Packs Continues to Provide Resources for Students

Jenna Reiber, Copy Editor

Along with Cocoa Packs, the district will be providing a way for students to get their meals. Cocoa Packs has relocated and is now operating from Spring Creek Church of the Brethren. The church is located at 335 E. Areba Avenue in Hershey.

The district and Cocoa Packs are working with the community to deliver the meals that students would normally receive during school hours. They are also doing the best they can to provide the food assistance that students would have during the school year.

Cocoa Packs is limiting volunteers to people from the community who have previously volunteered at the organization. Also, the organization is limiting their work to four volunteers per time slot to both help the community and keep every volunteer safe.

On Cocoa Packs’ website, they posted a schedule for the week of April 14th to April 17th, 2020. This includes the time frames of when they are operating and who is volunteering for that time slot.

If you have any questions regarding Cocoa Packs or what they are doing to help serve the community through this difficult time, they can be contacted via email at: [email protected].
