On Saturday, December 7th, Downtown Hershey Association held their annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony.

For over 100 years, Hershey has held a holiday celebration with the lighting of the Christmas tree. This year, the tree was lit by a miracle child and her family after Downtown Hershey Association partnered with the Children’s Miracle Network.

The event was a family friendly affair that started at two and lasted until six in The ChocolateTown Square. It included food and drinks for guests, songs from Milton Hershey School’s New Horizons choral group, characters from Hershey, and collected donations for Cocoa Packs.
