Junior Ben Chappell and Sophomore Trevor McDaniel won HHS’ May ESports Super Smash Bros tournament on May 8, 2019.

Chapple and McDaniel dominated winning all of their sets to claim victory.

“I had a lot of fun at this month tournament,” said Chappell, “I am looking forward to the tournaments in the future.”

Over 20 students competed in the tournament held in Dr. Matt Kirby’s room after school.

Each month since January, the E-Sports club has been hosting a Super Smash Bros. tournament.

This month’s tournament was a two vs. two random character tournament meaning each team of two faced another team of two and each player got a random character.

The E-Sports Club is working on hosting a tournament next month, but no details have been finalized.
