Rocketman, a film based on the life of singer Elton John and his success in the music industry,  will be hitting theaters on May 31, 2019.

The film will focus on Elton John’s beginnings, starting when he was a prodigy at the Royal Academy of Music and over to when he reached stardom through his musical partnership with his collaborative songwriter, Bernie Taupin.

Taron Egerton will be playing the legendary singer in the film. He has previously starred in Robin Hood (2018) and the two Kingsman movies.

The movie has a 96% audience anticipation rate on Rotten Tomatoes.
