Hershey boys ice hockey beat Cedar Crest 5-2 on Wednesday, January 6th at Klick Lewis Arena.
The first period went scoreless for both teams.
Jake Devine scored the first goal for Hershey 30 seconds into the second period on a power play. Devine was assisted by freshman Caden Freer and senior Michael Lewis.
Sophomore Sammy Steele netted another goal for the Trojans five minutes into the second period, unassisted.
Cedar Crest caught up to the Trojans within six minutes. Cayden Miller scored the first Cedar Crest goal with eight minutes left in the period. With five minutes left in the period, Christian Hibshman managed to tie the game.
Steele scored two additional goals for the Trojans within a minute of each other in the second period.
Cedar Crest pulled their goalie, Nicholas Kreiser, with two minutes left in the game. This allowed sophomore Patrick Larkin to score the last Trojan goal.
