At 7:00 pm. on Friday, October 30, 2015, the Hershey Trojan’s football team lost 0 to 42 against the Cedar Cliff Colts.
The Colts got an early lead by scoring three times in the first quarter, while the Trojans struggled to get past the 50-yard line. Just into the 2nd quarter, the Colts scored again.
For about two minutes, the Trojans possessed the ball, and got into the Colts territory, only to be flagged for a holding and a foul ball.
The Colts’ quarterback Grant Brenaman scored their fourth touchdown, ending the first half with a score of 42, 0 lead.
The second half of the game consisted of the Trojan defense limiting the Colts from making another touchdown.
However, in the 4th quarter, the Trojans got to the 55-yard line, until the Colts recovered a fumble and drove into Trojan territory right before time ran out.
Hershey’s assistant varsity cheer coach Summer Farmen said, “Cedar Cliff came to win on their senior night, hopefully next week it will be Hershey’s time to shine.”
On Friday, October 30, Hershey Trojan cheerleaders (left to right) Ally Palutis, Kate Zurlo, and Talia Potochny perform their routine between the first and second quarter. The cheerleaders planned and practiced their routine right before the game started.
